Gold Sweater + Suede

Outfit Details

Gold Sweater from RiffRaff (CRAZY deal on this!!) || Suede Skirt from RiffRaff (check out the Dallas location, you can call or text to order, for this one. Also check out here and similar here and here) || Brown Fringe Booties similar here and here and other option here) || Michael Kors Rose Gold Watch here (DEAL! or go to Nordstrom) || Gold Chain Bracelet here || Kate Spade Rose Gold Bracelet here || Kate Spade Rose Gold Knot Earrings here || Francesca’s Bag SOLD OUT! Similar options here, here and also here

I just love this outfit. It is perfect for date night/girls night and so comfy! With weather in Texas always being a little wonky, this is the perfect “winter but it is sometimes warm outside” look. Keep it throughout the year and you can also wear it for fall! Suede is so popular right now and this skirt is 100% on trend. Everything about this outfit is easy yet stylish! Love Suede but hate the static? TIP: run a Bounce laundry sheet over and under your suede garment for less static. Also, when I wear this skirt I wear a pair of booty shorts/spanks and that helps with the clinging factor…

** RiffRaff in Dallas is such a great store. They are located in Arkansas, but I have worked at the Dallas location. Online and In-Store often have different items for sale…. which is so hard for us not in Dallas…right?! Well, think again! You can call/text either RiffRaff location to see if they have an item in the store and then they will ship it to you FOR FREE!! Go to their Instagram accounts (@riffraffdallas or @riffrafffayetteville) for their phone numbers and to shop the feed. Love it!

Note to you all: I am looking for some clothing/retail companies to get involved/collaborate with. If you know any or you are involved with one, let me know at

Chambray Dress + Thoughts on Life

Outfit Details

This adorable Abercrombie Dress is now sold out! BUT, very similar one here and here. I love Chambray dresses. This one is super comfy and I love how it is long enough! Necklace is BaubleBar. This site has so many cute things its hard to pick just one.

This week has been an interesting one to say the least. It is my last semester of college and  I am starting to feel the pressure of “what am I going to do next year” loom over me. There are so many different paths that I want to take and now it is just waiting to see where God is calling me to go. Whether you are in the same transition as me, trying to find a new career, currently pushing it in school, or whatever it may be, it is so important to stay motivated and keep believing in yourself and trusting God. It is so easy for me to get caught up in what I hope to be doing soon, what my dreams are, or what I think I should be doing. In all honesty, I don’t know. I know God has a plan for my life, and sometimes trusting in that can be scary. I spend my day writing in my planner, creating lesson plans, and organizing everything. Part of being a self-proclaimed Professional Organizer and Planner is that I also want to plan and organize my life. What I have learned this year is that you can’t do that. And, even if you could, God’s plan for you is much better and much bigger than you can ever envision for yourself. Looking back at what I thought my life would look like when I was a senior in high school is way different from where my life currently is now a senior in college; and it is so much better than I could have imagined. No matter where you are in life, keep pushing, keep trying your best everyday, keep opening new doors and trying new things, but never forget that God has designed your life in a way that will be glorifying to Him. I can’t imagine a better life.

What are you grateful for today?

Oversized Sweater + Over the Knee Boots

Outfit Details

Oversized Sweater from Shop RiffRaff (White online, black sold in stores) | Leggings by Champion from Target | Over the Knee Boots from Asos and under $70 | Small Black Bag from Forever 21 | Rose Gold Watch from Michael Kors | Small Gold Chain from Francesca’s | Big Gold Chain from a small boutique | Rose Gold Knot Earrings from Kate Spade | Red Lip from IT Cosmetics

Although I hate cold weather, I love wearing oversized sweaters and leggings. There are so many oversized sweaters surfacing Instagram and Pinterest, but sometimes it is so hard to find a good sweater in stores! They are either too short, too bulky, or see-through. This sweater from RiffRaff in Dallas scores 10/10. The black sweater is not available online (sorry guys), but the white one is and I bet you can find even more on their site as well as their two locations in Arkansas and Dallas. Pair any oversized sweater with a pony tail, vibrant lip, leggings, and some comfy over the knee boots and you are stylish AND cozy! What’s not to love?
